Program Participant Information

Effective Wednesday: 11/18/2020

With the uptick of positive Covid-19 cases and Jefferson County Public Health guidance, we are requiring all participants in all programs to wear masks, and further limiting spectators to ensure our programs can remain open and keep our community safe.

Mask Update: In addition to the current mask policy, all sports participants, including soccer, gymnastics/ninja/dance, tennis/pickleball/racquetball and other sports, must wear masks during all sports play. You do not have to wear a mask if you are under the age of two or swimming in our pools.

Spectator Updates: Spectators are further limited in our facilities. See changes below.

Soccer League:

-U12 to Adult, there are no spectators allowed; Drop-off will be at the front door of the facility and pick up will be at the side doors by the dugouts of the large field.

-Recreation, Team, Ninja classes, no spectators allowed, drop-off/pick-up will remain at the front door of the facility. The preschool spectator policy for ninja and recreation has not changed.

If your program is not listed above, the spectator policy has remained the same.

We are working diligently to ensure the safety of all players, coaches, spectators, and everyone in the community. We are closely monitoring the Covid situation and will keep you updated. We thank you for your understanding.

After careful consideration and planning, we are excited to let you know that we plan to resume youth programing while following CDC and state recommendations to protect players, families, and our community.

The health and safety of our youth, staff, and volunteers remain our highest priority. Below, you will find a summary of actions we are taking to help ensure we are lowering COVID-19 risk as much as possible while also allowing our youth to play. We are:

  • Intensifying cleaning, disinfection, and ventilation within our facilities and premises by cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched surfaces in the gymnastics area, basketball court, and play surfaces. Nightly deep cleaning and fog disinfecting in all program areas. Equipment will not be shared when possible, cleaning and disinfecting equipment between use.  We have upgraded our building ventilation system to exchange the building air more effectively at an increased rate.
  • Reducing physical closeness or contact between players when possible our youth programs are built on skills and drills; we will continue to follow these practices, staying away from group games. We will keep children in small groups, and staggering arrival and drop off times, putting signs and tape on floors to ensure that coaches and players stay 6 feet apart, discouraging unnecessary physical contact, such as high-fives, handshakes, fist bumps, and hugs.
  • Coaches, youth sports staff, officials, and parents/guardians will be required to wear a cloth face covering during program times in the facility. All programs have moved to curbside drop off and pick up. Each program will have dedicated entrances to the building. Youth program participants are required to wear masks at all times unless you are under the age of two or the swimming in the pool.

Anyone who is sick or has been in contact with someone who has COVID-19— including players, family members, coaches, staff, and spectators — should not attend practices or games. Be on the lookout for symptoms of COVID-19, which include fever, cough, or shortness of breath. Call your doctor if you think you or a family member is sick.
